Fall is my favorite season. Unfortunately, I live in Austin, where Fall is a fleeting cool-ish breeze in the air sometime in late November.
To cope, I turn up my AC to simulate sweater weather, break out the apple and/or cinnamon scented candles, drink cider and spiced tea, and live vicariously through the social media and blog posts of those of you who live in areas that actually have seasons.
And I make desktops with fall images and quotes. (Download a copy here!)
Fall, leaves, fall
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night's decay
Ushers in a drearier day.
